Welcome to Our Parish

If you are a visitor or you have just moved in to the parish – WELCOME!

We wish you grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, here in our beloved parish church dedicated to Our Lady and St. Christopher.

Our parish, comprising Bredbury, Romiley and Woodley, developed from St. Joseph’s, Stockport when in 1912 the Sisters of Charity D’ Evron arrived at Harrytown Hall and opened a Mass centre and school. Fr. Griffin was the first parish priest and the sisters gave us the land on which our buildings now stand.

To learn more about the history of our parish and the priests that have served our parish and our community, please see the Our History section
